That article states.

The archaeological excavations at Mt. Gerizim proved unequivocally that the temple on the mount was built in the middle of the fifth century B.C.E., that is, most likely before Nehemiah's arrival in 445 B.C.E.
But isn't 445 BCE the middle of the 5th century BCE?

Yes. The article is answering two questions :1-And when did the marriage of Sanballat’s daughter to the grandson, or brother, of the High Priest in Jerusalem take place—in the time of Nehemiah (Nehemiah 13:28) or in the time of Alexander, a century later?

In Antiquities of the Jews, Josephus has Sanballat asking Alexander for permission to build a temple on Mount Gerizim, but this article says that the temple was built in the 5th century BC , a century before Alexander .It says that Nehemiah 13:28 is right and Josephus Antiquities of the Jews is wrong.

Josephus has to be taken with a grain of salt as sponsored writer for the regime not unlike Eusebius or Abu Yizhaq.
