Come on, chaps. So far as dave and his ilk are concerned the Catholic Church is only just this side of Satan! Anything said by Il Papa in Rome or his satraps elsewhere is just so much hot (brimstone-laden) air. 'Sno use calling the "Scarlet Whore of Rome" to your colours, I'm afraid

Also, it seems that the poll results have really pissed dave off... He started talking about deathbeds again!
Here's a hint, dave: Intimidation might work in some cases (like arrogant creationists preaching to small children), but it does not work with freethinking adults. Got anything else? |

Yep, a scary dude he aint. Not a good argument, but it does show how snarky he's feeling.

Out of interest, how many of you atheist-leaning ladies and gentlemen think you might feel a bit insecure as you draw your last few breaths, and hurriedly repent of your evilutionist ways?
Could you be sufficiently sincere after a life of Flud-denying sin? Be that as it may, it is a very great annoyance to me that dave will never know how wrong he has been - he'll just pass into oblivion like all the rest of us, and we'll never gat a chance to gloat. C'est le mort, I guess |

My vote: I'm looking forward to the deathbed moment. Will emotion or intellect rule? Either way I win. |
