Default Stupid Xian Arguments that make no sense belong in elswehere

I think users like Magus55 totally defeat the idea of RATIONAL DISCUSSION.

I think that these users should just restrict themselves to the elsewhere sections because they can be a hindrance to many discussions.

Let 'em speak I say. I don't agree with Magus on much of anything, but I don't see him as poisonous to threads, while there are certainly some others that I do think that of.

I say let them stay. Welcome new ones with open arms, even!

They're fun to play with, and who knows? Maybe they'll finally figure out that the Bible is full of male bovine excrement.

While I agree that certain posters make "arguments" that contribute nothing to intellectual discussions, and, indeed, detract therefrom, I feel that any of them which are not violating the TOS for ii should be tolerated.
I feel that many threads have been derailed (and, indeed, ended up as a sort of philosophical train wreck) because of some users, I feel this is more because people feel obligated to answer these same people saying the same things, over and over again.
Posts of some of our esteemed members, while seemingly not aiding the conversation, per se, certainly draw responses which could be very informative for lurkers, and so, do contribute something, no matter how unintentionally.

In Magus55 and others' defense, it generally takes at least two to tango and bring a thread down into off-topicness.

As a Christian myself, I had to go with option 4.

Let them post. Suppression of any ideas is a bad thing. I'd rather have to tolerate and skip past troll posts and repeated arguments, than to have a moderator not allow a comment that, even if full of fallacies, could be useful in demonstrating an error in thinking.

I like Magus. He’s one of the features that make this board interesting.

Yeah, let him post. Maybe we’ll deconvert him one day. He doesn’t show dents here, but he did make one hell of a whine on RR on how doubts were coming creeping in, ’specially about YEC.

What HD said. Magus is OK. Hell, they're all OK! Nobody has to engage with anyone if they don't want to. Personally, I prefer to come to a board like this one - which allows a diversity of opinions to be expressed - to one of those Xian boards where you can be banned for daring to think for yourself.
