Only you can prove that you are god. It is not possible for us to disprove. I've used this example before but I'll pull it out again.

Before. my life was meaningless, so pointless! I didn't see any reason to go on living until the voice of the Almighty Anvils Hammer spoke to me on IIDB. Scales fell from my eyes & lo! I could see!! How could I be so foolish not to realize The Truth (tm)!
Now I shall spread the word to all lands & all creatures that I have found It (tm), the glory of Anvils Hammer. Those who do not heed this gospel I preach shall be deemed Evil Idolaters (tm) & heathens worthy to be put to death by the sword, I mean, um, the hammer! I pray to you now O holy Anvils Hammer, that you give me the strength to glorify you in the great task that lies ahead of me, writing treatises, tracts, & a big ass Summa, singing hymns in praise of your name! Glory to Anvils Hammer in the highest! Ay-men! Now-- where's my torch? :devil1: J |

I hate to say it, but unless this thread turns a bit more serious, it'll be moving soon.
In this case....I am God...*grinnin* |

Oh this is meant to be a serious thread?
Sorry, the whole conceited atheist beating a false dichotomy suggested to me otherwise. The burden of proof issue isn't a case of 'Disprove God or you have to be a theist' or even 'Prove God or you're wrong to believe in Him'. I know a lot of people say it's like that, but it really isn't. What's wrong with good old fashioned weak agnosticism? You're an atheist? Fine, it's not like there's evidence up there that you'd have to be blind not to see *He says reaching for a baseball bat as the fundies prepare to comment 'Only the blind can't see He's up there'* Likewise, you're a theist? Nice one, good look to you. Little tip for any boys you might have - don't let them join a Catholic choir, it's a bugger of an experience :devil3: . It's all a matter of 'I don't have to change my mind. I'll remain as I am' |
