Now, how is this not supposed to make someone feel that at least some, if not many, of the staff are gay-negative? i won't use the term homophobic but it's quite clear that many things that are gay-positive are edited or deleted while nearly anything gay-negative is allowed with no consequence.

heck, I even got nearly warned by moderators for reporting Kgreg's posts too much! It seems that requesting them to stop him from violating forum rules is .... a violation of forum rules!!

Oh, and TasMan ... no tats here

I do have multiple piercings though lol.

Gay-positive can be seen as promoting sin. If you have specific instances, I'd love to take a look at them.

As far as OBOB...my spiritual health plummets after a certain period of time posting there. So I got to stay away from it. I certainly find the comments on evangelical fundamentalists quite amusing there when I see the same type of behavior under the title of Catholic.

The judging, measuring & comparisons of who is more Catholic is just astounding to me.

Stay away. I made the mistake of not listening to my instincts and continued to try and fight it out. It didn't directly lead to my deconversion, that was all to do with me, but if I hadn't stayed, I wouldn't have started questioning the basis of my beliefs. It was from being told I was out of communion with the Church (for giving condoms out to prostitutes) and thinking I knew better than the Church that was the final straw at a time when I had other uncertainties, I guess. You need to be spiritually strong to stand up to it and I wasn't.
