Default Natural vs Positive Law in Humanism and Theism

Interested in a discussion of the Secular Humanist and Theist (esp Christian) approaches to Natural law vs Positive law.

Seems to me that both strands value both types of law: Humanists see Natural law as that which is self-evident, whereas Positive law as that which must be determined by logic, whereas Christians see Natural law as a God-given conscience and Positive law as law given to us through Scripture/inspiration.

My question, however, is more on the topic of the relative value of these two types of law, contrasting the emphasis between the two worldviews (although, of course, there will be dissention on both sides). What do you think? Which of the two types of law do you feel trumps the other, for example, and why?
