There are a few minor religious parties, Destiny New Zealand (0.62% of the vote, or 14,210 votes) Christian Heritage NZ (2,821 votes, 0.12%) are the only two obviously religious parties. Religion really isn't much of an election issue, though (and a good thing, too)

yeah destiny church has to be full of some of the biggest wack jobs ever (come to think about it, so is pretty much any organised religion)
