just curious, why do atheists 24/7 day after day, year after year trot out their tired old whine/complaint/dogma that they dont believe in God/Gods? It seems almost equivalent to going door to door in my neighborhood every day saying "I dont like peperoni on my pizza" and doing this every day, year after year....whats the point, after you've made your point?

That's quite a claim angela2, sounds like you are getting frustrated by not being able to answer atheist's questions about your own beliefs. If you ever get time, I know that many are intrested in your response about Zeus.

My disbelief in gods is not a whine, a complaint, or a dogma. The first two require, among other things, dissatisfaction. I am quite happy to be an atheist. The third implies a belief held on faith, which is most certainly not the case. There's also no "trotting out" of any belief. Discussing issues among ourselves on our own forum is absolutely nothing like going from door to door. Also, only a small number of threads actually discuss whether any gods exist. We talk about lots of things.
What's the point of coming here and antagonizing us, hmm? That's like going to a knitting forum and complaining that you don't see the point of talking about knitting since you yourself find it boring? If that's the case, then don't go! |

Yes, it's quite a claim, and its a true claim. You just proved that by not having a response.
