You're right, he's wrong. Mythicism actually is the hypothesis developed by amateurs unfamiliar with actual historical criticism and pushed on by those who either have an aversion to Christianity in particular (extreme bias) or who don't bother to get in touch with modern scholarship (ignorant and proud of it).

You're right, he's wrong. Mythicism actually is the hypothesis developed by amateurs unfamiliar with actual historical criticism and pushed on by those who either have an aversion to Christianity in particular (extreme bias) or who don't bother to get in touch with modern scholarship (ignorant and proud of it).

I'm not making any claim about Jesus existing or not. All I'm saying is that both explanations for mythicism that the robot offered are ridiculous.

So here's the answer: paganism and evolutionism are essentially one and the same. The former puts God at the beginning of time, and the latter puts God at the end of time. Neither has any use for the man who put himself in God's place.
