Default Scientology, Hubbard, and Xenu

'Hubbard wrote the Revolt in the Stars film script, an extended version of the story of OT III, in the late 1970s. It states Xenu's full name to be Xenu Etrawl.'

Xenu Etrawl anagrams to "we r lunatex"

I wonder if Tom Cruise has sussed this?

It also has the following anagrams:

Relax, we nut.
New tux, Earl.
We run, exalt!
Exalt a wren.
Wet urn axle
Ex-law-tuner

And a vast number of others.

Having read Hubbard's stuff I'm pretty sure that he deliberately called Xenu 'Xenu Etrawl' because it anagrams to "we r lunatex". There are probably other anagrams floating around in Scientology's mythology.

Im sure many thing anagram out to spell wierd things.

I honestly have a hard time taking Scientology seriously. I mean I respect peoples beliefs out of principle. If you believe there are demon monkeys in your head bent on world domination....Ill take a few steps back but I will still respect your beliefs.

Scientology is just...SO far off carom that it just...on its own is hard to really take seriously. But if it was JUST that, I could probably keep a respectful tounge in my head. What I REALLY dont like is that they ask for money from members.

This IS a free country, you DO have the right to believe whatever you want to believe....but I have issues with people who say you have to BUY that belief.

I think the reason that Scientology has actually become more of an accepted religion because of its celebrity base. Reputedly the Church of Scientology has outlines for recruiting celebrities http://www.xenu.net/archive/celebrit..._celebrity.png

Now I KNOW the Church has some serious dough, we have a small Scientology church near here which is absolutely amazing. We have ONE porn shop and ONE actual bar, this is Mormon central. Hell even the MASONS had to fight for a lodge out here, and the Catholics are still fighting for thier slice of paradise.

The Church seems to be a group home for slick dudes who can talk people into things. I mean they arent above SERIOUSLY fudging thier membership numbers, they claim to have 9-10 million followers in the US, however the latest census data suggests there are fewer than 60,000 adherants in the US.

There actually is a list for the costs of "training".

I remember meeting an LRonner in Melbourne a few years ago. He asked me a series of questions, and eventually decided that my desire in life was to become more assertive.

So, naturally, he wanted to sell me some Scientology books so I could become more assertive. It took about five minutes to get to this point, and then his sales pitch started. I said no, several times, and eventually told him to fuck off.

Wow! I became more assertive, so anti-Hubbardism must work.

One of the civilisations in Hubbard's books is called Arslycus - which needs to be read aloud.

but he did have a kick ass recording studio, so he ca't be all bad in my book

http://www.ronthemusicmaker.org/studio3.htm

it's his followers that are bonkers..

scientology tried to hijack me a couple of times as i often passed the 'church' in copenhagen. i thought it could be funny to infiltrate them, but never really got around to it. went to an intro meeting though.. crap!

some years ago a radio host wanted to make a little fun.. he asked people to go down to the church and put stamps all over it. he then later called the post office and told them he had a big package he wanted to send far far away... hehehe.. good one :Cheeky: :notworthy:

I'm sure Tom is aware of all these. The big underlying theme to MI3 is clearly wren exaltation.
