I'm usually online arguing with you atheists.. I'm doing the work of the LORD on the Sabbath. What better way to follow my Shepherd than by teaching atheists that God is love, and he does exist?

Hmm? I eat bacon? But I do not sea food.

No.

Just trying to figure out where you're coming from.
I see wickedness in a church when I see a 25 foot statue of my Jesus looking down upon me. I see blasphemy. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong and they are right. I will let God decide.

If God makes my bed in Hell, then I shall lay my head down.
So you follow SOME of God's laws, but not all of them.

How do you choose which ones to follow and which ones not to?

Where, in the Bible, does it say to only follow SOME of his commandments?

God struck down the pagans for this, so why are Christians any different? Secondly, I believe many modern Christians are very, very judgemental. They are too busy judging people rather than studying the word of God.

Not a good answer Hymny.
I asked you if you were a Christian as you said "Christian Churches worship graven images and wooden idols.
I didn't ask you if you were a member of any particular denomination, I asked you if you were a member of THE Christian Church.
Do you know what that is Hymny? Better get out your Bible and look it up.
Asking you again, Are you a member of THE Christian Church ?

It has the story of noahs ark so it could hardly be perfect. Why indeed would it contain errors? You will not be comfortable with the answer. So pretend there really was a flood. its safe inside the fairy tale.

the most hardshell creationist i ever ran across happily acknowledges there is no evidence whatever that there was a flood, and dismisses all that creationist crap you quoted
as much as i do. He knows its a losing game to fight real science with phony.

how does he solve it? Easy. God cleaned up the mess, and left no trace. i should let you talk to him, save you embarrassment if you ever go back to try to defend the indefensible, ( fraud vs science )

and of course there is no way to prove god didnt tidy up. neat, huh? no study, no thought, no brains needed.

No, I'm not a member of the Christian Church. Not yet anyway. I'm working my way up to that. I want to find a church that doesn't rely on praising idols and statues. I've read what YHWH does to those who worship idols. I don't want any parts of that.

Your answer indicates you still did not understand my question.
"THE" Christian Church, that is,- you are being asked whether you are or are claiming to be a member of "THE" or "THAT" Christian "Church" which is described within The Bible. I TOLD you to look it up- but obviously you have not.

Here are a few verses;
Quote:
Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto THE CHURCH: but if he neglect to hear THE CHURCH, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. (Matt 18:15-17)
By your non- 'membership' and non-attendance, you continue in disobediance to this ordinance of THE CHURCH.
At present you still are as "...a..." and remain so outside of attendance, fellowship, ("Foresake not The Assembling of yourselves together, such as is the manner of some") within THE Church;
If you want to be a 'Christian' in truth, you need to live like a 'Christian' in truth.
Quote:
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved THE CHURCH, and gave himself for it;
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
That he might present it to himself a glorious CHURCH, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord THE CHURCH:
For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
(you cannot be of His CHURCH apart from the communion of all the other 'members' of His body THE CHURCH.)
Quote:
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and THE CHURCH.
(Eph 5:22-32)
Quote:
And he is the head of the body, THE CHURCH: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. (Col 1:18)
Quote:
For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of THE CHURCH of God? (1 Ti 3:5)
Quote:
But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in THE HOUSE of God, which is THE CHURCH of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. (1 Ti 3:15)
(Not you Hymny, but THE CHURCH.)

Quote:
To the general assembly and [THE] CHURCH of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, (Heb 12:23)
These are not all, but certainly sufficient for the time.
You come here presuming and pretending to be a spokesperson for The Faith, and THE CHURCH Yet as you here admit yourself;
Quote:
"No, I am not a member of the Christian Church."
To bad, Hymny, as without any acknowledgement of, nor an admittance of being a member of THAT BODY, which is made up of all of its "members", all being "members in particular" of ONE and The Same BODY, you reveal yourself as a continuing outsider and stranger to the BODY of Christ, which is THE CHURCH.
You do not respect THE CHURCH, the living body of Christ, you do not live subject to the rules and ordinances of, nor submit yourself to the investigation nor the correction of The Elders, neither to The BODY of THE CHURCH.
Your religious opinions add nothing to THE CHURCH of Christ, neither can your accusations against the members of THE CHURCH take anything, nor anyone away from HIS BODY, THE CHURCH, even these whom He has foreknown and chosen, pardoned, and justified from all things wherein a man cannot be justified by The Laws given Moses.

You need to become a member of THE CHURCH, and learn the workings of these things, 'ere you can stand before the world as a true witness for the teachings of THE CHURCH of Christ.

No, it is not enough that you should now try to lay a claim to holding such membership, and to any authoritative position,
But THE Church must claim you, and attest to you as proven being one of its own, one found by them to be 'walking orderly', submitting to the teachings, and to the living decrees of The Ordained Elders within the midst of THE CONGREGATION of The BODY of CHRIST, THE CHURCH.

I can see right through this post with the verse where GOD says; Pray to me in the privacy of your home.

You have just wasted your time. with the boldened texts..

Yes, as a non-Christian, and an accuser of THE CHURCH, it is apparent that you feel free to neglect and to ignore what IS written in The Bible to make up your own imaginary Bible verses.
I do not blame real Christians for your worthless words and act.

Modern Churches pass around a collection plates. That was forbidden by Jesus Christ. Do you Jesus walked into a Temple, and he saw the church was charging it's members? Jesus went into a rage, and he over-turned the tables, slapped the collection plates out of everyone's hand, he pushed people down.. and he cursed at them in Hebrew..etc,etc.

Goto Youtube and check out how many Churches burn to the ground because they got struck by lightning..
