Hello to all,

My name is George, I joined this forum on 4th March 2007 and I wish to introduce myself.

I live in The Midlands and work as a computer engineer. Have been educated at DeMontfort University and a devotee to the paranormal

Also would like to explain a little about myself, so that there is a general understanding on my views.

Without going into the realms of 'rambling on', I feel that I have to explain my philosophies and how I wish to be treated.

I can understand that there are rules that have to be adhered to; to enable a free and easy relationship when using spiritual forums, and in every respect, I have adhered by these rules, have never forced my opinion on others, never swore or have done anything other than express my views.

Yet time after time, I have had my UFO photographs removed, my threads closed and 'personal stabs' by moderators when I do not believe in spirit guides or homosexuality.

The changing world of fashion does not disengage my thoughts that people should not be free to express themselves. We should not be eluded from our main esteem; in opinionating our views for fear of being ridiculed and attacked.

We are fast approaching an era where George Orwell's film 1984 is becoming a reality. Unless we are prepared to be brainwashed, we get posts removed and told off just like a child who has not the right to think for himself.

Throughout my lifetime, I have been especially gifted in having received many paranormal photographs and film clips of alien craft and other strange anomaly and have undergone many experiences.

Unfortunately, some of my material offends because it is good enough to threaten people's beliefs. As I am willing to debate my material, it is up to the individual to believe what they like....take it or leave it.

I also wish to defend my material be replying to any disarrays that people would like to mention. This is no means forcing my opinion, but clarifying any discrepancies that people may have. I will also take it personally if people focus their distraction on my mentality as opposed to the debate in question, as I am clearly not on the line for, discussion relating to my personal life, other than what I wish to make public.

I am sorry if this presentation appears to be either negative, pointless or argumentative, as this is not the case. I just merely wish to start as I mean to go on and make it clear how I feel. Especially, having been discriminated in the past and having my material removed because of prejudice and hatred..

Hi George,

Are you aware of the nature of this board and the background of many of the people who post here?

Many of the people here have scientific backgrounds. Even among those who do not (myself included), to say that as a group we are skeptical would be a bit of an understatement.

You are more likely to run across people who agree with James Randi than Uri Geller.

With that being said, I am curious as to why you would feature the paranormal so prominently in your intro. Most people here will need lots of extremely detailed physical proof obtained through laboratory conditions before they will even consider most paranormal claims.

Hold on...you don't believe in spirit guides or homosexuality...

thats putting two different categories of things in the same sentence.

What do you mean 'don't believe in'. You don't believe that there are spirit guides or homosexuals? Or maybe you disapprove of spirit guides and homosexuals? or do you not believe in spirit guides and disapprove of homosexuals, or vice versa?

In other words, huh?

Welcome in Georgek , I wouldn't mind seeing your UFO pictures. The moderators here aren't heavy handed, just be polite and refrain from personal insults.
