But I do believe you, Cojana. That's just another case where you are wrong.
As I have friends that are in their 70's, I realize the importance of finding new people to tell your old stories. I never said I didn't believe you have never had another headache. That must be wonderful. What I find bothersome is that you claim that this is a result of special mental powers. Feel free to believe this, Cojana. But don't come to a forum of people dedicated to scientific theory and expect them to believe you. There is no way to prove or disprove your anecdotal accounts are anything out of the ordinary. I too have had things happen to me that are not obviously explainable. I do not jump to the conclusion that some mystical mental power made it happen. You could have just as easily said "I prayed to God never to have another headache, and I never did!" It's just not a logical conclusion, Cojana. Now, couple your wildly illogical conclusions with your inability to express thoughts clearly (especially since you claim that English is your first language) and perhaps you can see why so many forum members think you're a bit "off." I wish you health and clarity, Cojana. Bright Life P.S. it's Ms. Bright Life |

Pleased to know you Lady Brite life, my hallucination opened my belief on the theory that the mind has power unimaginable, it gave me a new conception as to what God are, I don't accept the bible God, its paradoxally ingrained, I keep reading on facts about the Universe, trying to accept its theory on 'self organizing' which are kind of hard, after an explosion, our Solar system, functions in harmony, how lucky we are, a million miles one way or the other, and we'de be toast or ice cubes, so not of great intellect, I wonder, can you imagine some entity in your subconcious with powers galore? I lean towards that idealoge, this entity are in everyone's subconcious, plurally, functioning singularly, I can do two, 6 billion are a trip, methinks,

Um, I read your post, but I'm not quite sure, if in fact, you are asking a question. It sounds more like you are asking me to accept another one of your wildly illogical assumptions, i.e. the earth goes around the sun, so therefore it is reasonable to assume that I have extraordinary mental powers.

the earth has nothing to do with my conception of mental powers, I was merely stating science data I've read, the capability of all minds are whithin everyone, the subconcious responds to critical incidents, where you might have to lift or push a ton, normally impossible, feats have been done by individuals whom accessed thier subconcious inadvertantly, we use 10% of our total brain, and can't access 90% at will, I got a theory that the ancient builders used more then 10% of thier brain, thaTS how they were able to move 20,000 tons stones around so intrically close to one another, brain power, a lost art,..

I'm sorry Cojana, but I'm forced to believe from the evidence that you've just given, and have given in the past, that you are...well...let me just say, unwilling to enlighten yourself. Perhaps, if you are so interested in science, you will actually study some of it, instead of spouting pseudoscientific garbage. I'm not trying to be rude, but what you are saying is garbage.
The 10% of the brain thing is garbage I could spend time looking for links to debunk your other assertations, but I'm just not going to waste any more time. Cojana, I give up. Everyone else seems to have had the good sense to do so already. I suggest you find a forum with the keywords "parapsychology" and "crystals." The members there are far more likely to agree with your conclusions and be suitable impressed with your "amazing stories." Best Wishes, Bright Life |

I thank you very much for your indulgence of me, Brite Life, the 10% brain usage I got from a science journal some time ago,and have also taken it from the learning channal on tv, thier are actual science people looking into the mind, they feel, or I feel as they do, there are a guy that can bend spoons with his mind,I'm sure you've heard of him, and what about magicians? they must work audiences minds to create thier illusions, I saw a guy turn a woman into a tiger, the silloute of the woman into the tiger was always visable, its either his mind making you see his illusion or real magic, I say its his mind power, whatta you say??

there are a guy that can bend spoons with his mind,I'm sure you've heard of him, His name is Uri Geller and he has been exposed as a fraud by the famous illusionist and skeptic James "the Amazing" Randi.
http://skepdic.com/geller.html http://www.randi.org/ and what about magicians? they must work audiences minds to create thier illusions, I saw a guy turn a woman into a tiger, the silloute of the woman into the tiger was always visable, its either his mind making you see his illusion or real magic, I say its his mind power, whatta you say?? It's neither, it's an illusion, it's a trick. It's not his mind making you see something in some mystic or direct sense, it's YOUR mind. He simply thinks of ways (true mind power....thinking) to trick you into thinking you are seeing something you are not. |

Ok so you're saying that with that extra 90% of your brain you can lift boulders that are 20,000 pounds, you can see a double of yourself, and expand yourself beyond what any of us can comprehend... yet you can't grasp the fundimentals of english enough to possibly take what everyone here is saying as a possible explination.
Your writing patterns and logic do not prove to me at any rate someone who is intellectually higher on the brain scale. Your conclusions are without merit and you have no proof to back up your claims. Sorry my friend, it was only the drugs. You say that you quit doing drugs 35 years ago, that would be 1968. You also say that you experienced this "vision" of a double when you were 17, since you were born in 1935 that would make the year you did it 1952. I don't even want to go into the whole snake thing. Someone tell me the years of the Korean War so I can figure this out please. I think something else was in that foxhole with him besides his friends. I think the Korean War was way before 1952 so how could you have been there before you were 18? ![]() -Rider |
