The Biblical Jesus.....Evil???
If Jesus was so evil and so intent on sending people to Hell, why bother dying a terrible, painful, humiliating death on the cross for those you intend on sending to Hell? That doesn't make sense. I for one believe what Jesus says, and His rigteousness is sound. I also believe what the bible says about the primary reason for the rejection of Jesus and His teachings....the love for sin.....and if any man hate what is right, loving what is wrong his true self is made manifest.....it takes a evil person to reject and accuse Jesus of evil....in all my experiances dealing with people in person who rejected and hated Jesus there was not one of them who was not rotton to the core.....yes it takes an evil person to accuse Christ as being evil, especially those who know His teachings and who has heard the Gospel over and over again.

.....so:
The god of the Bible arbitrarily decided what is sinful and what is not. (Don't believe me on the whole "arbitrary" bit? Here's a hint: Are you wearing clothes of mixed fabrics? If so, BibleGod hates you just as much as he hates witches and homosexuals. Oh, and he's against your pillows, too, just for added measure!) The god of the Bible tortures the Israelites for well over a thousand years or more, sending out hellish punishments for such evil, evil things as interracial marriage and sparing people you conquer in war. (Except for the virgin girls; BibleGod says you get to rape them.) He's so heavy-handed that plagues issue forth for something as dumbass as taking a census. He realized that people just couldn't be intimidated into perfect obediance, so, he came up with a new plan. He: Would send his only begotten son (who is somehow him as well, in a very Dissociative Identity kind of way) to commit suicide by cop, warn people about Hell (the ultimate threat, really), and then intimidate humanity in general by telling us what fucking losers we are. And he did just that, killing his son-personality in order to spare us from his wrath over things he arbitrarily decided to hate. --sound about right to you, Sugarhitman? NB |

"Criticism" has a more specific meaning here. It refers to critical analysis of the text, not just sneers and mud throwing. Hold on until the thread stops moving. . . . |
