Default Groppledangers

I have a groppledanger. I lost my link to this site so googled for Boro Nut and found somone else on another site using my pomme du terre. Fairy Nuff, I haven't patented the name, but celebrating the same birthday? I think not. They do say flattery is the lowest form or wit, but I will still be keeping a careful eye on my credit card statements from now on if I had one. Does anyone else have a groppledanger?

Interestingly, no. My real name is quite unique, and I have yet to find another plognark out there, except for the one guy who swiped it in a game of RTCW who I flamed into oblivion.

Someone else using your potato?

Anyway, I know that at least one other person uses the name "Tau" (seen on the Folding@Home site), and there's probably more. Also, I stopped using my previous handle, Watcher, because it already was used on a website I tried to register to. I have also recently learned that with this name, I have a groppeldanger on Rapture Ready.

So yeah... my names aren't particularly unique.

I think there is a "Jade" on Theologyweb.

I've not seen another mecha_dude but it's not the kind of handle one would particularly want. My normal alias (Yakolev) is practically never taken in games but on a few message board's I've found it to be taken when I try to register.

Mine's unique, as far as I can tell.

I'm sure that the father of a certain football player might consider using my username, but I haven't actually found anyone yet who uses "Gooch's dad" on a message board. I doubt I will...

Boro, there isn't even a slight chance that the guy who is borrowing your harmonica is even 1/10 as funny as you! So don't worry.

Nom de plume / pomme de terre: it's obvious, that is if you understand Brit humour.

Plus it's probably fair to say you really shouldn't be taking the OP on face value, nor should you think Boro Nut is expressing a genuine worry.

Groppledangers are best handled by shouting very rudely at them in public till they stop groppling your danger.
If they expose their own danger, they can then be arrested.

I have yet to meet another "Stiletto", much less "Stiletto One". I've seen entirely too many "Stilleto"s, though.

People just can't spell these days.

However, there was one guy on AOL who uses "Stiletto" as his screen name. He never responds to my IMs or e-mails, though.
