Dark Virtue

I have a Christian friend that chose Christianity because it was the only religion that she could find that offered 100% salvation.

I know that's a bit strange, but I got to thinking...there has to be other gods throughout history that offered the same deal. Follow me and you can go to the Elysian Fields or whatnot.

Anyone know of any gods like this and what they offered their followers?

Some more intense bhakti movements offer Grace of Krishna or Siva as 100% salvation irrespective of karma.

so i see it that all Abrahamic religions do that, as do Eastern religions. all under the arch of the patriarchy which has deomon-ized Nature, the 'underworld', 'the unconscious', the 'Feminine', and thus seek to 'save' us from its 'evil'. for they also, of course have abstracted 'good' from 'evil', and therefore seek to save us for their 'good'....

I think I may be barking up the wrong tree here.

According to Christians, God offers salvation by the acceptance of Christ. Wham Bam, Thank you Ma'am. That's all you have to do.

Pretty easy, no?

I know that not ALL Christians feel this way, but salvation through faith makes it deceptively easy to gain salvation.
