Our story so far . . .

In the last thread, Chi_Cygni apologized for calling Annabel Lee an idiot. Some people doubted the sincerity of the apology. There was some fighting about that. Miss Shelby complained no one ever called her a gay hussy either, so Lunachick called her one. Much silliness ensued.

Apenman pointed out that there were new Homosexuality posting rules in some forums at CF. Polycarp1 pointed out that he could not follow the teachings of his bishop and post on the issue of homosexuality at all at CF. Flesh99 disagreed and said he was fairly certain Polycarp1 could discuss homosexuality on CF under the new rules.

Chi_Cygni decided to rag on I'ddie4Him for a while about the new(er) rules in N&CE and the new General Political Discussion forum. Flesh99 defended ID4H a bit. The conversation turned to dittomonkey911, who was alleged to have his head very far up ID4H's ass. Even I Love Jesus laughed at that turn of phrase.

Suddenly a whole bunch of mods, starting with Jameseb showed up. Although we tried to hide the beer, they still got into it. Flesh99 admitted a liking for Mickey's farting beer. Most other CF Staff showed a preference for quality malt beverages.

During the drinking session, seebs announced that he had heard E-beth was retiring from Staff at CF. Many nice things were said about E-beth.

Flesh99 made an off-hand reference to Black Adder. Rigorist a/k/a CaDan announced he has checked the CF membership list and found the name Baldrick was available. Flesh99 offered him all his CF blessings if he changed his CF name to Baldrick, so he did it.

There was some discussion with IIDB Staff about the proper booze to take on canoe trips.

A few lame D&D references were made.

I do accept your apology and I apologize as well for losing my temper. I went to bed last night and just knew I was gonna have a heart attack since my blood pressure was so high my skin was probably smoking.

You know, all this has made me so tired. It seems like every daggum thing gets blown up to ogre-sized proportions until as many people are affected as possible. No one (myself included) can just let.it.go. I am hurt and angry over how I was treated by CF, as are many here mod and ex-mod alike, but I am better off for being off staff.

I have a right to my opinions, but not a right to be mean or nasty. I just sort of respond with what I am given, and that ain't right either.

What I really wish...really really reall wish, is that CF could have been safe for me and others to complain in and give opinions in without being labelled, guilted, punished, or disrespected. All anyone wants is to be heard and loved. Instead I was a coward, and wanted to stay on staff with all my little friends, so I came here and let off steam. Others took my steam and added more heat until it became a fire of hellish proportion.

Thanks Michelle. Your apology is the only one I have ever gotten from anyone on staff at CF. It means alot to me.

As for humble pie, I have eaten it so much lately I am thinking of publishing a cookbook of the recipes I have created.
