You have completely misunderstood Dr. Hovind and where he was coming from. Notice how you only took small clips from Dr. Hovind's seminar. Maybe if you had watched the WHOLE thing you would have understood it better? Hovind was using "Natural Selection" as freely as he uses "Micro-evolution". He thinks they are very poor names, but the general principle is true. When he was talking in his 5th seminar, he was talking about the "death" part of Natural Selection. This is the "dark" side if you will. But no, you evo's never listen to the ENTIRE thing do you?

Nothing in the video was insulting in the least, and you know it. This was not a personal attack, merely a interesting observation that I thought deserved some spotlight. You're emotional reaction to the video tells me I won't get some quality discussion & debate going, with out getting censored or threatened.

Also I have watched the "entire thing." I even listened about 2 minutes after each quote to make sure I wasn't taking anything out of context.

I doubt I'll recommend this forum (like I have been) anymore. People don't like living in fear of being banned for simply putting forth a different perspective, which in this case, was actually Hovind's perspective.

I hope this post is read before edited/deleted.

Yeah, it was halarious. One second natural selection is an evil evolutionist idea that leads to social darwinism, the next it's "God's quality control." Which is itself funny, as most humans have better quality control than letting bad products break down in the hands of the end user.

Oh, and "we thought of it first." Halarious :rolling:

A friend pointed out that technically what hitler did wasnt natural selection, it was artificial selection! NATURE didnt do it.. lol

Not to mention, natural selection selects the ones fit for the envir. Hitler didnt check each person to see if they were healthy, he just didnt like jews!

I'm a campaigner for the replacement of natural selection with differential reproductive success. but neveryheless, Hovind is a hypocrite.

Hovind is definately a unique individual. I've seen his debate videos and his seminar videos and have yet to see some one come close to "winning the debate". I would love to see more of his arguments taken apart than people attacking his character. "which can be easy to do at times"
