Well, for a start we are limited in what we can do. Sometimes for us people dying does turn out to be the lesser evil.

God - however - well, he can do anything can't he?

He can just take those pesky Amalekites that are annoying his favourite tribe and transplant them in their sleep to another continent; or make a second Earth to put them on; or put an impenetrable barrier between them and the Isrealites.

God has far more choices than we do - so it is still immoral of him to do the 'lesser' evil when he could do no evil and still solve the problem.

God can send people to their deaths for the greater good. But that is an immoral act when he has the power to do the greatest good and not kill anyone - but chooses not to.

i just notice how we sometimes un-consciously use the premise of there being A 2God" on high lookin down, and directing things etc

That image is on the dollar bill isn't it, and is a symbol part of the Free Masons dogma. It really is an ideogram telling us --oe ELSE!--what the established hierarchy is. we have "God" the all-seeing eye at the top, then the next bit down will be "his" representatives, the church/state....at the BOTTOM will be the women, brown and black peoples, homos, 'heritics' and orgiastic hallucinogen takers
