Would you like to discuss that at the Abrahamic Religions forum?
Roger will receive eternal life, and as a result, he now believes that some things are just too good to be true, and he has no need to produce evidence that the Gospel stories have any more provenance than random lead books 'found' in Jordan.

It's not a rational position. On anything. For the reasons I gave earlier.

But don't let me stop you, you know... :devil1:

All the best,

Roger Pearse
There are many who claim an HJ must have existed behind the facade of a christ of the gospels.
The proof put forward so far, for many reasons just doesn't stack up.
People like Tim O Neil on another forum is a classic case. Using the gospels to defend the gospels. And "that" quote from Josephus which even Ehrman says cannot be used to find the HJ.
If Zindler is correct about the lack of evidence for the towns HJ is supposed to have been born in even existing at the time, that's another nail in the coffin of the HJ.
I've just ordered Zindler's book, thanks to this thread.
