Christianity, because it has had the most impact on me. Islam sounds pretty bad, I'm sure I'd hate that too, if I had to deal with it. What I really hate the most is the concept of faith, and the concept that reason has limits beyond which it cannot reach but beyond which faith can reach. Reason has its limits, but faith cannot extract knowledge from beyond those limits.

Not everything.

I do not hate Buddhism because it "annoys me". I hate it because of its "eliminate desire" (boring, personal reformist philosophy) and most Buddhists in the West seem to support that ex-feudal tyrant Dalai Lama.

Ya know that old chestnut about guns not killing people, people kill people?
The same holds true for Belief.
Without the believer there is no belief. You may as well condemn both, it's a package deal.

I have a strong dislike of Islam. I find it scary that these people feel it is acceptable to strap a bomb and kill citizens. Christianity is close second.
I don't understand your hatred of Buddhism though. Buddhists are generally very tolerant of all faiths or lack thereof. Many Buddhists are atheists. Just curious

Hate? That would mean I'd put more emotion into it than I'm willing to expend. Let's say I strongly dislike religions.

My personal Top 3:
#1: Scientology: yes, it's a SCAM

#2: Islam: Mohammed's personal hate and death cult.

#3: Christianity: those poor slobs don't even notice they were had by Paul. :banghead:

Religion, as many other things, is, in my opinion, not really worthy of the (negative) mental and physical effects brought about by hate.

Religion is, really, a minor and unimportant thing. This is all, in actuality, a(n) [potentially] unemotional issue; it (if boiled down) revolves (simply) around Truth and falsity, not Catholicism vs. Islam, Buddhism vs. Mormonism, Scientology vs. Heaven's Gate, Cats vs. Dogs, My Way vs. Yours, or whatever-the-heck-have-you . . .

The individual should, in my opinion, hate falsity and love Truth; not hate religion nor follower of same.

Just another useless comment to be taken or left as only my personal, and relatively valueless, opinion,

JRs Tip of the Day: Dissenting opinions are, obviously, dangerous! Those that disagree with YOU should be lynched! . . . string em up . . . they deserve it . . .

First I don't like any religion, even a benign one fills up minds with meaningless garbage. Of course I don't dislike them equally.

My current hate list

Islam first, a brutal, intolerant religion with values that come straight from the Dark Ages.
Christianity second, the more fundamentalist the greater my dislike.
"New Age" type crap like astrology, healing crystals, homeopathy, etc; this bogus pseudo science is doing a lot to un-educate people and stall progress these days.
Don't forget that the Japanese used religion as an excuse for their appalling racism and war crimes.
And also that extremist Hindus and Jews and quite capable of mass murder as well.

Nice to let off steam once in a while.

Those damn Cathars. . . .

Anyways, I hate what the religion does to people. I hate the people who use the religion to harm others.

I guess you hate me as well then( and other buddhist guys around here). LOL

By the way, Buddhism is not by, definition, a religion. And western Buddhism don't represent the entire Buddhism as a whole.

Well, no one force you to take an interest in its philosophy if you find it boring, you can just ignore it. And I don't see how boring= hatred.

As for Dalai Lama, he is not the only monk around. Besides, to tell you the truth, I also dislike his current status as the "Puppet of United States" as well but I don't understand the logic of ignoring(in your case, hating) the entire community just because of a man's doing.

So what if others support him? Just ignore them. Not as if they did something to you, right?

Yeah, but what about all of those Buddhists who knock on your door on a Sunday morning and leave sutras in telephone booths. . . .
