I can't become a scholar. I lack the discipline. Besides where am I, a married man with kids and a thriving entertainment business, going to be trained in Samaritan studies in North America? I have dual citizenship. But still where the vocational training in this field? I probably could move anywhere here with my job and my job is brainless but still where should I go?

I give you full license to insult and brow beat me today. Got a contract for a big tour for 2014 - 2015. Very happy and secure today. Until the next problem

So you don't have the training and expertise in Samaritan studies that you often posture as having, and what you post here is substandard scholarly material?

Deut 21:22 If a person commits a sin punishable by death and is executed, and you hang the corpse on a tree, 21:23 his body must not remain all night on the tree; instead you must make certain you bury him that same day, for the one who is left exposed on a tree is cursed by God. You must not defile your land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.
In The Gospel's (the one's we have, not non-existent ones -speculated- to have once existed) 'Jesus' was alive when placed on the cross
(not yet 'executed' or a 'corpse') and was only on the cross for a few hours out of one day, being taken down and entombed before sunset.

'Jesus' body according to the Gospels DID NOT remain on the 'tree' or 'cross' 'all night'

and thus under a strict reading of The Law, never came under the curse of The Law, which only came into effect if the body was left on the 'tree'
(Hebrew עץ 'atz' = "wood" of any shape or description, 'pole', 'branches', 'planks', 'gallows' etc.) 'all night'.

Thus 'Paul' is making a leap that is not at all supported by The Torah, or by the Gospel accounts, when he claims that because 'Jesus' was on the 'tree'/'cross' he was or became 'accursed' of God, or 'was made a curse for us' based upon the curse of Deut 21:22-23. it being that according to the Gospels, 'Jesus' body was explicitly NOT left to hang on the 'tree' all night.

There is no Gospel story where 'Jesus' ever hung on the 'tree' or 'cross' all night.

From the FAITH perspective, either GOD HAS FAILED _to preserve and provide believers with the true account, the one where 'Jesus' is on the tree/cross 'ALL NIGHT',
OR 'Apostle Paul' is in error, or is abusing and perverting the Scriptures.

From my perspective, both are true.

How do I posture that I attended a university to study Samaritanism when such training is not available in North America and I have never left the continent for any period over six months? Like I would do with my own business or any other pursuit (love) when I was attracted to Samaritanism I sought out the best (I R M Boid, Benyamim Tsedaka) and have maintained long term relationships with both (over ten years) where I have been instructed about the basic details of Samaritanism. I can pick up the phone and have any question I need answered and - in most cases - have them translate any passage I deem necessary? There was a time where I would correspond with them daily (when I thought I wanted to pursue a degree in Melbourne). But alas I knocked someone up and that was the end of my academic pursuits.

The information I cite here is authoritative because it comes from the notes of my apprenticeship and training which I have kept and organized for myself and others. It's the information that matters not the posturing. Boid has only published one book and a handful of monographs but he is the best resource there is for Samaritanism - so Benny. Luckily for me, they both like being entertained.

So .. leaving out all the excuse making, the answer to my question about the sub scholarly nature of what you post is yes. Thanks for clarifying.

The forum is sub scholarly so my posting is entirely appropriate for the forum. You on the other hand often seem like a guy dressed in a tuxedo at a beach party.

Wow! Another admission nor only that your posts are sub scholarly, but that you are doing nothing to improve, and are only contributing to the continuance of, the forum being what you say it is!

I take it that you have no experience of the effect that wearing a tuxedo to a beach party has on bikini clad women there, especially if the one wearing the tux has an English accent.

By restraining my impulses to engage you in these nihilistic debates I am helping the forum
