I feel sorry for the CF mods. :frown: the best thing is when you don't like a place leave and don't let it effect your life. People on here whine about CF but keeping going back for more. That is not a good thing, CF will never change unless the mods want to change, no one here can make it a better place because some of the mods don't care. And its sad but the truth. :frown: Complaining about it on here is only going to make things worse, because people will get mad if they don't like something here and get revenge. And cause more pain. It is good to get inner healing but you can't let it go overboard.So, what if the mods have secrets, we all do. Everyone has secret, and I don't know why the mods hide stuff but it is their business, I'm sure members hide things too. We don't need to know everything. I believe everyone has a right for privacy. I think the mods do to. I think its bad to share their converstation all over the internet even if they aren't good people, I would never do something like that. And I would be in tears if someone was showing others what I thought was private. If a staff member ask not to post their PM that is ok, because PM'S are private and really isn't anyone's business. I see so much hate for mods on here, especially the orthodox mods, I have no problem with orthodox christians. Some of them are the nicest people. I have been shocked by the actions of drsteve, mommy and the others they aren't very nice but it is their problem and not my problem, I will not keep letting them effect me, even if they didn't think my marriage is valid, its just their opinon and wouldn't effect my marriage at all, I wouldn't even let CF effect my marriage, because its just a forum, it takes itself too serious but it is a forum. Love your enemies, I found out forgiving them and just ignoring them is very easy. Even if they hurt my feelings, they harm themselves more then me. I have never even had a problem with any staff on CF though. they even gave me a second chance on CF few weeks ago, when they should of banned me. Staff do alot of nice things, but it seems all people care about is the bad. I seen staff do many good things!
sorry if my post is stupid, I just feel people can be too hard on staff. I don't agree with alot staff do, and don't like their actions, but I can't hate them or judge them because I don't know them personally. Plus, power can go to anyones head, and I'll admit if I was on staff I probley be a power freak too. I'd still be a sweet person, but I will admit, I might give my enemies a few warnings. :frown: :frown: I don't think I'll ever be on staff, and doubt I be accepted.

hope no one is mad. I meant no harm. People who know me know I never try to be mean on purpose. I don't hate anyone on here, I like everyone, hate is a waste of time for me.

Sometimes you have to get away and take care of yourself, but other times staying and looking out for the good of the community as a whole, or other individuals, is the right thing to do. We each have to learn to make wise judgments about when to stay and when to leave.

Yeah. Sometimes that happens. :frown: Trying to be constructive in the way we handle wrongs so as to be more likely to improve things and less likely to incite a backlash that makes things worse takes some skill. We could all improve in these skills.

If the PM is really a private communication, I agree with you. Just because the person is a mod doesn't mean they give up all privacy.

However, when a mod sends a PM notifying a member of an official staff action, it's not private. It's official. The mod has usually discussed it with other team members in the staff forums and is speaking as a representative of the team, so it's not personal to them. The responsibility is shared with their team.

When a moderator refuses permission to have their official PMs quoted in an appeal, and then the administrator decides against the member because the member hasn't posted proof (although usually staff post their official PMs in staff threads, so the Admin would have access, and in some cases, the admin knows perfectly well about the PMs because the admin personally deleted them from the appeal) that's an injustice that should be corrected, and if not corrected, at least exposed. IMHO.

After forgiving, just ignoring is sometimes the best thing to do, but not always.

I'm not mad & I don't think your post is stupid. It is one side of things, and everything you said is true and valid and sometimes best. There are also other perspectives that are true and valid and sometimes best. Learning other perspectives is what discussion forums are for. Your POV is worth listening to.

Well, I also stay at CF because the people can be very nice and helpful, and when I need advice alot of members give it to me. I stay on gaiaonline even though I can't stand alot of the bratty imature members, I like alot of the games and dolls. I'm a sucker for fluffy things.

I got no idea why I stay on here, probley out of habit, plus there are alot of interesting conversation on here.
