Exclamation Ellen G. White. The woman who started it all.

Hello again!

Crazyharp81602 here.

Did you all know that Young Earth Creationism was all started by a woman?
It's true! It was all started by a self-proclaimed prophetess who founded the
Seventh Day Adventist cult named Ellen G. White (1827-1915). She claimed that in 1864 she saw a vision of the Lord telling her how He created the universe in 6 24-hour literal days a few thousand years ago and the fossils where all the result of Noah's Flood. George Mccready price (1870-1963) took that vision and her teachings to heart and began to write and publised the book called The New Geology in 1921 based on White's vision and teachings. I think Price was Henry Morris' mentor who mentored Morris to start the yec movement of the 1960's by publising The Genesis Flood along with John Whittcomb. Morris took over the movement after Price's death the whole thing really took off from there.

And to think that for 12 years, I was all stressed and upset over all of this faulty later-day religious cult that began in 1864 by a self-proclaimed prophetess woman who have actually been suffering from epilectic seziures since she was 9 years old when a class mate threw a rock at her in the face on her way home from school. All for absolutly nothing! And Creationists have known to lie to their followers claiming that this yec crap is started by the likes of Luther, Calvin, and Augustine. But in fact it was actually started by a woman who founded the 7th Day Adventist cult religion during the 1800's!

Here is a website about her
www.whiteestate.org

There is a book called "The Creationists" by Ronald Numbers that tells of this.
I'm planning on going to the library and see if they have that book for me to check out.

Plus I found some reference to this historical fact.
and here it is.

Even today I think Seventh Day Adventists have one of the highest proportions of young-Earth creationists of any of the Christian denominations.

I wouldn't say she created it by any stretch but she played a huge part in the charismatic movement.

Its funny she also predicte that christ would return on OCT. 22, 1844.
When the date passed she added a revision saying he was cleansing the heavenly temple first or something like that. Place musta been a real mess.
Maybe christ has OCD.
