Thanks QoS!!

I definitely respect and admire livius drusus for her ability to be so gog damn succinct, intelligent, and eloquent all the while managing to cut someone to the quick with a delicate ease and charm...

Lady Shea, and of course QoS with her weekly Nut Watch - such skill and devotion that woman has ...

and so many others it hurts my brain to recall them all...

I also appreciate the theist contributions of Helen M, seebs, and wilderneese (sp?)

Brighid

Edited to add ... I miss Mordie too ...

All those non-theists who don't start topics that amount to popularity contests.

Good thing this isn't a thread where people nominate themselves for a "Reading Comprehension Award".

From the OP:

Quote:
It seems only fair that theists should have the chance to voice their opinion of the non-theists on this board.

As I comprehend it, the OP does not exclude non-theists, it includes theists.

I find that bd-from-kg generally kicks ass.

Now, the relevant text is: "theists should have the chance to voice their opinion of the non-theists on this board", right? But you choose to 'comprehend' (though I think you should have used 'interpret', as 'comprehend' is likely inappropriate in this case) the first part to mean, non-theists, and theists, because non-theists weren't specifically excluded.

Fine.

Using that reasoning, we could just as easily modify and extend the second part too in a similar fashion. That way we'd end up with: "non-theists and theists should have the chance to voice their opinion of the non-theists and theists on this board".

So, why hasn't anyone listed their favorite theist?

I have puzzled about this one for a while. The steady atheists on this forum are all excellent debaters. Hard to pick any single one.

So I am going to vote for Starboy. Very intelligent. Had some problems in the past on this forum for Lord knows what and has redeemed himself. (A Christian has got to love that one).
