I bought the $45 Oxford NRSV bible, but then decided it wasn't worth it. I then bought the $25 paperback from Oxford, but I'm again wondering if it was worth it. I'll probably end up returning it. |

Goeth thou and picketh up Friedman's new The Bible with Sources Revealed. This covers the first five books with the sources separated.

The greatest story ever told is the story of how I had the priveledge to bang a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader back in 1990. Of course, those days are long gone, but the legend that grows amongst my circle of friends about me when I was in my early twenties continues to grow to god-like stature...
Of course - the story I told to the cheerleader to get her interested in me in the first place runs a close second... NQ (Living off past accomplishments...... and loving it!) |

I really don't think this is BC&H material. Let's give it a shot in GRD.

But the Owner did not walk in the way of YHWH. He defiled Tom Landry. He worshipped at the High Places. Thus did Joe Montana come and carry off their Silver Idol.

I truly just love this place...
Where else could a lewd reference to a one night stand end up with such clever repartee? NQ |

If it's so great, why is there a gazillion dollar Christian book industry to supplement it and/or make it comprehensible?
