A friend of mine was warned at CF about six months ago for a jokey comment he left regarding how he likes to sit down and read his Bible but only after lighting some Nag Champa incense, opening his chakras and chanting the Gayetri Mantra Flesh 99 was the chap who PM'd him and told him that his post was 'borderline offensive' to those who believed in the Word of God. He never went back.

My favorite eternal argument was the Argument from Pizza. In a nustshell, he argued that if we could believe him that when told us he ate pizza that night, then why couldn't we believe him that God exists.....it went downhill from there....

He asked your forgiveness... and from what I have heard, you accepted it. Can people learn from their mistakes? Are they allowed to learn from their mistakes?

and do you know me or what happened? yes people can learn from their mistakes. and my problem is not with the mod, but with other things that caused that mod to do what he did. its unfortunate he got caught up in it, as i am sure he's a nice fellow....actually you know what- I don't have to justify being upset to someone i dont know on the internet.

You posted the whole episode on another thread in this forum.

I just find it interesting that you have stated that he apologized to you, you accepted it, yet you're still complaining about the whole thing. For crying out loud, let it go already.

He hacked into her account, got information and gave it to the staff at Christian Forums. It was criminal behavior.
You can forgive the person that broke into your home but do you give him the keys to your new house?

I don't think so.

If I recall correctly, someone also hacked into CF and provided information to a board she was staff on. That was likewise illegal too. So, now that both parties have had one eye poked out... what would you like to do?

And, I might add, someone from that other board used that information to publically post my private information (ie: my full name) on the internet. So, before we all start crying about how wrong we've been done, perhaps we should drop the myopic crap and realize that there is plenty of blame to go around.

The board I was staff on didn't ask for someone to give us information, nor did we ask them for information. We dont even know who it was. We suggested they come clean to Erwin about it and whomever they are they did. So no, I did nothing wrong except befriend people that were unpopular at best.

The only time I became concerned with what that hacker had to say about CF was when they told me my account was being hacked and they (I assume its a he but I could be mistaken) could figure out who it was from the info they found. However, we had figured it out without that information.

So no- TomJoe- there is a major difference in the actions taken. One was an INDIVIDUAL who hacked into a huge site and figured out who they were hurting and told them what was going on. The other was a huge site discussing a bunch of individuals and hurting them so much that they started their own site to vent. And that group of individuals threatened the huge site so much that one of their own felt compelled to hack into someone's account. The difference is something Justin told me in his pm to me last night. At the end of the day- CF is just a message board. At the end of the day- I am still a human with emotions that were hurt.

And you get over it. You weren't involved- you had nothing to do with it- you don't have the right to complain.
