I often link my articles to wikipedia, and I have never had a problem with this, until I linked my Ten Commandments article. I see that on wikipedia all the Ten Commandment external links are to pro-religious sites.
My article: http://www.rationalrevolution.net/ar...mmandments.htm People keep editing and removing my link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ten_Com...External_links The text to add my link back is: Quote:
After a while people will probably stop, but you know how these religious nuts are. Do not, I repeate, DO NOT, remove anyone else's links or mess anything up for other people. Thanks for the help to anyone who can. |

There's no point in formulating "non discriminating" request. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia not a forum. You have to prove your article's value within the topic instead of stubbornly link it just because you think you have the right to express your view. You may want to start a paragraph in the disscussion section about it, instead of arguing in comments. Make a persuasive case. Get more wikipedia users to support your case.
Remember that wikipedia can be modified by anyone and I assume common sense (the opinion of the many) must be followed. If you stubbornly add that link you may even create a counter-reaction. Good luck in your enterprise! |

The problem here is that my article is in opposition to the display of the 10C on public buildings so 10C advocates keep deleting it. That has nothing to do with your comments. |

I performed a small edit to your link. By citing it as another point of view on the 10Cs (there's already links to Christian and Jewish POVs), and referencing it as pertaining to a portion of the main article (as there's a part of the article called "Public monuments and controversy in the USA") I've hopefully better justified its inclusion in the External Links section.

I'm nearly positive there's an article on wiki about the ten c contraversy. That makes the link superfluous.
