Yes, but they have the vote, which amounts to nearly the same thing.

True. Well, if the US continues the trend into becoming a "Christian State", I'll have to wave goodbye to it. The two most dangerous mental influences in history are Religion and Nationalism, and I'll be damned if we aren't doing our best to be the "best" at both.

Now, because I'm an inveterate old Lefty, I'd add "Capitalism" to that list, but I imagine there's plenty of folk on here who wouldn't agree with that.

Wasn't John Paul a bulldog over at BaptistBoard?

JM: He may have been a bulldog in his early life, but once he latched onto ID it pretty much neutered him.

Heh, well I guess I'll find out if the double standards kick in. A poster just wrote, "your quote above also falsifies your alleged agnosticism to be a phony front attempting to stake out a position of objectivity that does not exist". (I was asking why there are patterns of morphological change with respect to hominid evolution, btw.)

Hmmm, I wonder what would happen if I accused him of Bible-idoltary...?

John Paul is definitely a Christian. This was pretty well established long ago when he regularly quoted the Bible as authoritative. He only claims not to be because of the fact that all Creationists are religious. So, if he pretends not to be a Christian, he can claim that he is a Creationist because of the evidence, and not because he is a Christian.

Well, Fred stepped in and locked thread. He apparently disagreed with the insult against me "for the most part", but then made an excuse for the poster. Then he claimed I overacted, and lavished praise on the poster.

I have a feeling if the tables were switched around and had I accussed the poster of idoltary or being a "phony Christian" things would be different.

Anyone who's interested in the thread can view it here.

What he is saying about the Debmski E/F sounds suspiciously familiar.

You may be confusing him with IDsBulldog at ARN.

They are one and the same.

yes, same JP form EvC, also from OCW and NAIG.

Still making the same flawed argumewnts, still using the same statements, in fact.
