Now, however, I can't flip past the local xtian TV station without seeing him trying to hawk God like some sleezy snake oil salesman of centuries past.

My favorite part was when he made the (clearly faulty) analogy between a judge who would let a rapist off and a god who would "let off" a sinner. He says that such a judge would be corrupt, and god (being perfect, blah, blah) could never be corrupt. My reaction was: I don't think we would call a judge corrupt if he declined to put a rapist away eternally... I would say that this judge has more compassion than the supposedly compassionate Xian god...

Not to mention... wouldn't a non-corrupt judge decline to create the rapist in the first place?

Well, I started by answering "No" to "Are you a Christian" only to be asked how I knew I was good enough to get to heaven.

Obviously, if I'm not a Christian, that's a moot fucking point, isn't it?

Maybe the Q.A. lead let that one slip though.
