That's a myth. Stress and exhaustion are the culprits.

If it was anything even approaching a week, then it was due to sickness. And it would have to have been pretty bad...

About 12 days.

Didn't do it for any particular reason, I just had circumstances that made it difficult to get time/privacy to masturbate for several days. At which point I wondered how long I could go. I lasted those 12 days, at which point I was like... hmmmmmm, I could keep going for longer, but why? So I started back to masturbating daily

When I travelled to New Zealand. It was around a week without doing it, and I didnt feel like whacking off in the airplane bathroom, or my grandma and grampas house.

Let me second this. When I was in basic training (back in 1989) we used to say that same thing about the food, until it was noted by one of our drill instructors that they and most of the cadre eat the same food. Stress and exhaustion are plenty capable of killing your drive.
