Yes indeed. At http://iidb.infidels.org/vbb/showthread.php?t=148122, you will find a thread that I started at this forum on December 22, 2205 that is titled Pascal's Wager started as The Resurrection is irrelevant. The thread lasted for almost a year, and has 109 pages. The mere supposed fact that a person rises from the dead hardly constitutes a sufficient basis for worshipping them. If Elvis Presley rose from the dead, Christians most certainly would not worship him.

Actually, I thought it was a reference to the theists conceit that there had to be an historical event (= real Jesus) in order for believers to mushroom across civilization quickly. The canard being that "somehow" a myth would travel more slowly and take more time to become accepted. The "dynamic" (if my interpretation is right) is easily proven to be specious based on ancient and modern examples. You probably know them better than I.
