No on the sun for two reasons (since we are talking in absurd idea land).
The sun will burn out in about 11 billion years or so which would mean that "Hell" would then not exist anymore (and where would you go or be able to do after that in open space with no energy source).
The sun is made of matter that is so dense that there would be difficult to squeeze much more of anything into it.

Actually, there is a third reason too.
If the sun were Hell then you would be able to reach it without being damned first by any number of god-being ideas (bringing in all kinds of belief system questions).

Or what if you are just a fraction of a soul, or what if all those fractions have souls? What if our souls have souls and they all start jumping out of each other like Thing A and Thing B in the Cat in the Hat?

What if the Bible were based on an Alice Cooper song? What if Alice Cooper had travelled back in a time machine and unintentionally inspired Revelation? What would the afterlife be like if Alice hadn't made it but Christopher Cross had?

That's true. After it melted you'd be kind of laminated. You'd be in this plastic God-wrap, forever fresh, except you'd be a bunch of fractions.

Default The sun IS hell!

1) I live in Texas: during the months of June, July, August and September the sun makes the weather so hot that we all swear we must be living in Hell! (There just isn't anything good I can say about a high of 112.)

2) I'm having several very annoying skin cancers removed from my skin. Every time the dermatologist removes one of those things, I look outside at the sun and think, "That thing is HELL!"

I really want to make a personal attack but the mods say I can't.

No really, I AM DYING TO MAKE A PERSONAL ATTACK. LIke I'm talking a personal attack that would make Muslims riot and murder. Oh wait I guess that isn't saying much, well I would like to make a really bad one.

It's not hot but it certainly was Hell on Wheels.

Hell is only a word. The reality is much, much worse.
