But I understand that you see the tragedy in Mark . . . but the real tragedy is not that he was crucified but that he went back to Galilee again, happier than a pig in shit, as some of us here would say. But then again, I think that some of us here have been watching these gophers for too long and begin to think like them, in that their 'final stand' is made when they go underground and let the good times roll.
Aristotle would have this to be a rout between the ego and imago wherein imago is the winner with the ego crucified. |
