He knows when you are sleeping/He knows when you're awake/He knows if you've been bad or good, so be good for...

Oh. Wait. Wrong guy.

Talking about sexual fantasies, dont you think Bible is a good source for many of them?

*hint hint Yehezkiel and Song of Songs*

And here we thought Bible is God's Words.

But cheating on your spouse is legal...

It's not moral, but it's legal, and the only way your spouse is allowed to punish you is by divorcing you. He/she can't, for instance, beat you, or throw you into a lake of fire.

I meant illegal under God's laws.

To a Holy and Righteous being, who can't tolerate impurity, that would be extremely harsh, even though to us, most of those thoughts don't harm anyone. You are trying to compare sin solely to actions and effect on humans. God has an infinitely higher expectation and standard.
But if he is omnipotent then these sins should come as no surprise to him. And if it is no surprise then how can he be angry?

Before he even created the universe he would have been aware of every sin that would ever happen.

At least David made honest women out of the others. Magus, did you know that Jacob never even married his wives' maids, he just had sex with them? Was God OK with that, even though it was sex outside the bonds of holy matrimony?

Well, the authors do get to decide on the ending.
