They now want to unite with Christians to defeat atheists and materialists. As they can't win the creationist argument, they now think ID is the way forward
http://www.islam-online.net/english/...rticle02.shtml Quite an interesting article |

Y’know, this could work in our favor. Given the way that Christian evangelists such as Falwell, Robertson and Franklin Graham have railed against Islam, it might be useful to mention to people that among IDs strongest supporters are fundamentalist Muslims.
I’d love to see what happens when the Xtian fundies discover they’re in bed with the Muslim fundies on this issue. |

Very interesting article - it all but says "we're desperate" and "evolution = secularism".
While it looks to Christianity, it has typical Islamic flavours. Islamicists are borrowing and stealing from Christian apologetics to shore up their impoverished explanations - now they are going to steal from creationism & ID developed by Christian apologetics ![]() |

This has been going on for quite a few years.
I think there is little doubt that many of the illiberal religionists look upon atheism and secularism as their most dangerous opposition. Faith, martyrdom, killing people because of one's beliefs all make sense even if you think the other guy's beliefs are a bit twisted. But refusal to believe six impossible things before breakfast -- now that's really incomprehensible! I well remember 11 years ago how in the run up to the International Conference on Population and Development that took place in Cairo, the Vatican and the ayatollahs of Iran were in league to scupper the whole idea of "reproductive rights" or any mention of non-conventional family structures. |

![]() But yes, this does not seem like a very shocking thing for two religions that do have many similarities. |

And if you have energy input you can have localized decreases in entropy at the expense of the overall increase in entropy of the universe. No one who has the slightest knowledge of physics would make such an erroneous claim as this website does. However, I’ve seen and heard creationists say this on numerous occasions and it plays very well to people who do not have scientific backgrounds. They hear this and think, “What? Evolutionists are breaking the Second Law of Thermodynamics? Why they should be arrested.? If it weren’t so tragic it would be funny. |
