This reasonable analysis is what supports my overall very favorable opinion of this forum, and of IIDB as a whole, because apart from the occasional sniping and flaming, or just plain bad manners, there are individuals of integrity possesing keen insight, who have the good sense not to go overboard in the judgement of any matter.

Exactly but if you put that on a slippery slope none of it is fiction (or all must be empty words) and if it is truth it is not contingent on our belief but on our participation of that truth.
