It might help if you attempted to answer the questions put to you rather than avoid or ignore them.
For example: "What other equally compelling reason might result in the same outcome?" Thinking about the answer might help you to understand the problem. Quote:

I have seen no evidence that you have a genuine interest in seriously thinking about anything other than supporting the conclusion you already hold. That is a great way to keep a conclusion you prefer but a horrible way to determine if you are correct. |
