Every so often a participant boldly proclaims his atheism but I often wonder how deep it goes. As a test I invite him to proclaim, "Fuck God"

I will assume it is the latter. Why would the statement "Fuck God" be a test of the depth of a person's atheism? The statement makes a tacit assumption that God exists, and that the person is angry or dismissive towards them. A better statement would just be "There is no God". Or "God isn't real". Or something along those lines. And THAT I am perfectly willing to proclaim. There is no God. |
