You will no doubt read the work with the openess of mind your postings demonstrate.

Johana:

As noted above, your postings are simply snide comments - like your last one - there are no questions in them to answer.

I am looking forward to reading it because I want to know whether, contrary to your earlier booklet, there is something new and original that needs to be taken seriously.
Btw, have you made a reference to Carotta's work in the bibliography?

Juliana:

No, because I had not read Carotta's work until after I had finished Caesar's Messiah. However, in the next edition of the work I will reference him and perhaps discuss his book if he gives me permission to do so.

Juliana:

I am curious. Are you one of Carotta's translators?

Johann:

I apologize, I found that you had sent me two questions.

Is that your understanding that the Jews who are rebelling are the bad Jews and that the good ones are the pro-Roman ? Yes

Why didn’t the Flavians care to widely publish their work while they were living ? They did

So you can spell correctly if you want.
I'm a friend of one of the translators.

Juliana:

Great. I am hoping to visit with Francesco next month when I am in Europe. Pehaps we can all get together. The discussion would be an absolute hoot!

Ciao

Just a point of clarification: There is no rule against trying to sell one's book by creating a thread on the subject and defending the position.

I send an email to an address provided by Mr. Atwill, after googling his name and finding that he is indeed a translator-editor-missionary working in a Latin American country.

He responded and said he could see why his story might look a little improbable, but he filled in some fascinating details. He indicated that he will register here and tell his story, but he only has internet access once a week.
