More likely fewer sets of books. Most churches just have one. I suspect that Hovind has several. Also, the raid was reported (along with the Dr. Dino nickname) in the Denver Post today.

I feel it is now pertinent to point out that this issue has no bearing upon the quality of the science carried our by Dr Hovind. We should let his work stand on its own, and be judged by its merits.

As far as truth and science is concerned, his 'work' is unworthy of consideration. He is very well spoken, though. Few others can do a better job of turning nonsense into cash 700 times a year. And this demonstrates that, obviously, this amazing scientist has broken the secret of FTL travel.

JM: Apparently, he went up to a house in the area for his theme park and offered the people cash to move out. There is some discrepancy in the story in that one version says that the house was owned by Hovind and he was renting it, but wanted the people to leave early. At any rate, the woman refused to let him in the door, so he broke the door down and the person inside called the police.
