What I was talking about was a mode of thought, a way of thinking, that may be categorized as Christian. This seems to be the way that "djrafikie" took it, as well as (for the most part) Johann_Kaspar. Examples of modes of thought are petitio principii, Ockham's razor, god of the gaps, and modus tollens.
Well, I would say that the Teleological view is a mode of thought and a way of thinking that comes to us from Christianity, and came to Christianity from Neoplatonism.

New Scientist had a discussion this week about the structure of the universe, and noted it was very difficult - but not impossible - to work this out because we are inside of and part of the universe. In the same way our thinking is clearly xianised - pagan is a xian invented rude word for example, persecution complexes do seem to be rife, archaeologists do seem to assume a xian view of history even where evidence contradicts this.

All I am asking is that it might be helpful to be aware of any biases.

Don't I regularily dazzle you with my supreme intellect and frightening genius? I'm stunned that you could say such a thing when you've had the honour of dicussing things with me so often and been allowed to bath in my intelligence.

I'm insulted.
