New Scientist had a discussion this week about the structure of the universe, and noted it was very difficult - but not impossible - to work this out because we are inside of and part of the universe. In the same way our thinking is clearly xianised - pagan is a xian invented rude word for example, persecution complexes do seem to be rife, archaeologists do seem to assume a xian view of history even where evidence contradicts this.
All I am asking is that it might be helpful to be aware of any biases. |
