Today's reading is from "Through the Looking Glass:"
"It seems a shame," the Walrus said, "To play them such a trick, After we've brought them out so far, And made them trot so quick!" The Carpenter said nothing but "The butter's spread too thick!" "I weep for you," the Walrus said: "I deeply sympathize." With sobs and tears he sorted out Those of the largest size, Holding his pocket-handkerchief Before his streaming eyes. "O Oysters," said the Carpenter, "You've had a pleasant run! Shall we be trotting home again?' But answer came there none-- And this was scarcely odd, because They'd eaten every one. |

Does anybody know how the thread views counting system works? Is there a "hidden" viewing platform for staff or something like that?

Just got home from my school's employee appreciation dinner. They surprised me by recognizing me for a couple of things at the ceremony that I didn't even know any administrators had noticed. It's my first year there and I'm pretty invisible, so it was kind of a shock that anyone was paying attention. They also included my sister (who is having heart surgery next week) in the meal prayer...I didn't know they knew. I mean, there are over 200 employees.
I love my school. |

He was obviously feeling cynical and disengaged. What led to this & whether he will recover, I have no idea, but I think he was burned out. |

![]() Geo's a difficult guy to predict. I have had some great interactions with him and some really crappy interactions with him--both before and while he was on Staff. |
