The quotation from Phlegon in Michael the Syrian
I suspect that this might be of interest to some readers of this forum? I've written a post at Christ Weimer's blog on the mention of Phlegon in the text of the 10th century Syriac writer Michael the Syrian.
Unfortunately I haven't managed to get hold of the Syriac text; but perusing the first 6 books in French still offered a few thoughts. All the best, Roger Pearse |
