Would you mind reading what you just wrote, thinking about it a bit, and then confirming if you actually meant it?

All I meant was the focus was not on anybody's death.

How so? Nothing is said regarding execution, unless you're referring to some other aspect of the gospels (or Acts).
Blasphemy is a capital offense.

A Roman citizen would have the right of appeal to the emperor.

I've never heard anyone assert that Jesus had Roman citizenship thus it seems highly unlikely that they would have given a rat's ass what happened to him.

And sorcery was a capital crime, too. The sanhedrin probably could have stoned Jesus for his healing practices, which the Pharisees claimed were done through "Beelzebub"

Question

According to the thread tiltle, NO! Impossible!

Unless you can prove that Jesus was a historical figure.

Is there any objective proof?

QM?

I was taught that there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers.

QM - please realize that the question actually is - could the Sanhedrin have executed someone like Jesus as described in the gospels? You do not need to assume that Jesus, however defined, actually existed to answer the question.

OK?

I suppose this qualifies as a stupid answer then:
