Am I supposed to post here when I think of the game? But wouldn't I remind everyone else of the game if I tell people here that I've lost?
If someone tells you they've lost, everyone around them gets reminded of it, but thats ok.

Meh, I thought the same thing as you when I was told about it. When you start to get into it though it is funny. Particularly when you get an angry text of someone you havent spoken to in a while that has just lost the game.

But as soon as we read this, we've lost. And if we forget, we're not playing anymore
The game starts when you stop thinking about it. In about 10 minutes, will you be thinking about the game? If so, how about tomorrow? Then at some point something will remind you of the game, perhaps ~~E~~ or someone talking about some kind of game, and you'll think "Oh yeah, the game". Thats when you lose. The difficulty is that you have to put it out of your mind to win, but if you actively try then you think of the game, so you lose.

Its a lot more fun if you have a load of people playing it, like in a house or flat. Then you can try and trick each other, but only when someone has reminded you of the game otherwise you lose.

EDIT-

Forgot to mention, I lost earlier too. I thought about this thread. Had to explain it to some other people because I was talking to a few mates after a lecture and proclaimed "Bollocks! I lost" without realising.

CHEATER!!

I am proposing an additional rule by the way; when browsing the fora, and especially ~~e~~ of course, I don't feel that that counts, just when away from the boards and then being reminded in one way or the other should lose the game.

I'm not quite sure if this will be fun now that the rest of my life I will feel like a loser whenever someone mentiones a game...

Hehe. Good rule, otherwise just looking at IIDB will remind me of the game.

The game can kinda take over your life, but its funny. I know a guy that used to play it in the RAF. They had to say they'd lost it even if they were in the middle of an inspection. He got bollocked for that once, as did a few of his mates.
