Perhaps my FIL was a Brit and din't know it.
yikes, I'm glad I'm in the US for that word, else it would be the word I'd have to post here as one I can't pronounce

The word I always have trouble with is: chrysanthemum

I want to stutter out a few extra 'mum's whenever I attempt it

Celt is with a hard (c) unless it plays basketball in Boston. Then it's a soft. I can't a: pronounce the Castillian ll. I see the word llorar and pronounce it jorar. b: I can't lisp like a Madrilenyo. c: I can't say the letter (v) most of the time. I pronounce it like an (f) or a (b).

It's "nuclear" for me.

When the George Bush thing was big, I was like..."What's the problem? I don't get it."

Now that we have all had our confessions, I guess the next question is if you still treat people who misprounce "simple" words like they are idiots.

I do. I'm so bad.
