I am decades into atheism, but I still, occasionally, feel that odd pull toward religiosity in some form. Not the fundamentalism of my youth, mind you. Now it's some sort of vague, non-descript "transcendence" or something.

I really hope it's genetics. That way I could find myself less annoying.

It's weird. It's almost as though some other mind takes over for that brief period when I find that bullshit attractive. Like a mental sea change. :huh:

Fortunately, the tiny skeptic in my brain is very persistent. So that crap never survives long.
