Firstly, huh? When did Jesus ask me to accept him as lord? Jesus specifically, not you and not the multiple authors of the bible.

Secondly, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence for me.

Finally, if someone wants me to "accept them as Lord", whatever that means, they'll have to do a bit better than what I've seen from christianity so far.

No, I started out Jewish, and after a personal struggle a few years ago, I immediately began believing in Christ. After studying further, Judeo-Christianity is the only religion that sounded convincing to me. Every other religion is all about works and earning your way to Heaven. That just smacks of pride. I concluded other religions sounded to man made and were mans attempt at reaching God. I found Christianity to be the opposite. It felt more like God's way of reaching man to me.

Unless they saw the sun go dark and the Earth get bombarded by heavenly bodies, while angels descended from the clouds, I doubt it.

If he was the god described in the Old Testament, yes indeedy. I don't want anything to do with the genocidal creep.

LOL, you wish. Seriously, though, are you basing this on scientific fact, or your own unsupportable opinion?

And if your aunt had balls she would be your uncle. The fact is we do not know if it or hell exists. Everything you know about god comes from the same source as everyone else that claims to know the NT god. From this tens of thousands of different interpretations have emerged. People read the bible thinking that they are being clued in on some other reality the same way they read astrological charts, palms, tea leaves, crystal balls or Tarot cards. It has as much validity as any of these other superstitious pass times. Why do you give it more credence then it deserves? Have you been so deceived that you can't bear to admit it and thus must spread the lie to convince yourself you have not been hoodwinked?

I never claimed there are no leprechauns. Do keep up would you QoS?

The same could be said for you.
Not really, since my posts aren't temper tantrums and I don't claim all atheists are lying mental patients.

Progress! So you think most theists are lying mental patients?
