I am referring to people who believe in God, but who don't want to follow God. The ones who are afraid of religion becuase they would have to give up their favorite sin in order to join.

BTW, for whatever it is worth, from my Catholic perspective, I do not believe those of other faiths OR athiests necessarily go to Hell. Nobody will be judged for what they do not know or could not have known.
I, like QoS, am also a bit confused by this. Have you actually ever met anyone who ever made the conscious decision to ignore god in favor of sin? Or is this just something you hear about?

I mean, frankly, most people I know who are "sinners" by the technical religious definition are pretty pious, and either go to confession or simply ignore the fact that they do sin. They don't appear to be giving anything up at all, just not really thinking their actions through. That's a far different mindset than "Hmm, god or sin....I guess i'll chose sin"

If you are a coward accept Christ as the Savior from the harm God will inflict on you.

No kidding. If this was all planned, how did God pick the fall guy?

Judas was just god's patsy. He was set up...

Well, god is going to say that of course he knew that Judas was going to do it, but he didn't make him. And someone had to do it. And Judas had free will. Blah blah blah. Which brings us back to omniscience and a whole big mindf*ckloop.

And even if you're not a coward, how is that going to affect the outcome?
